
Paula
Pasqua is a violinist with String Quartet Con Brio.
At age 10, she began playing the violin. Her career as a solo
violinist began after studying for only four years. Her senior
year in high school, Paula was the concertmaster for Western States
Honor Orchestra (formerly Weekend for Strings), principal second
violinist with the Longmont Symphony, and played in Carnegie Hall
with her high school orchestra. Paula is a former member of the
Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra and currently participates as a
solo violinist at weddings and other special events. For fifteen
years, Paula’s private studio has brought instruction and
training to young violinists on a weekly basis. In addition to
live performance, Paula is also involved in the recording arena.
She has released a solo album entitled "Stand in Awe."
She has accepted several invitations to play cuts from this album
on television, at numerous churches around the country, for benefit
concerts, and for citywide festivals. She has taken part in numerous
other recording projects for various local and national artists.
Paula studied with Richard Fuchs at the University of Northern
Colorado where received both her bachelor's and master's degrees
in violin performance.
